RSS(フィード)を取得Battles, Prefuse 新作今日発売
Battles “EP C/B EP”, Prefuse 73 “Security Screenings” の日本盤が本日揃って発売。リリースは2/4ですが、一日前には店頭に並ぶはずなので。
Scott Herren (Prefuse 73) とBattles の Tyondai Braxton (g,key) は最近 “Zanzo” というバンドを立ち上げたり、Battles の John Stanier (dr/Tomahawk, ex.Helmet) は Prefuse 73 の次回作（最後の作品らしい）を一緒に制作していたりと交流の深い両者ですが、新作の発売日まで一緒とは。
“EP C/B EP” はいままでの EP を一枚にコンパイルしたもので、EP を持っている人にとってはコレクターズ・アイテムっぽくはなってしまうんですが、自分のようにこの日まで購入を控えていた人や、最近彼らを知った人には最高の一枚となるでしょう。
年内にはフル・アルバムをリリースする予定なので、その予習がてらにもまずはこの一枚。
コチラでアルバムがフル試聴（30秒ごとに停止）できるのですが、少々迫力がないようなので、MySpace や knock さんのブログの [BATTLES-downloads] カテゴリーにあるライブ音源などの方が良いと思います。特にオススメは下の [オススメ] 印の音源。

I have a new band with: Tyondai Braxton (Battles) and Hisham Bharoocha (ex-Black Dice, Soft Circle, Boredoms collaborator, and all around nice guy) - we don't have a name, we did but we trashed it. Me and Ty recorded some song over the weekend and it's niceness. Since Tyondai is doing mad shit right now, I foresee me and Hisham getting busy soon, then bringing it all in together. Don't expect anything. This is just music between 3 friends that want to do something we normally don't do.
